things at da moment r lookin okiee...not da best but okiee..purely cuz ppl havnt been able t make it t da editing sessions...n wen they do they dnt kno wt t do...cuz they havnt been der earlier...so me n pardi r da only ones whol realli kno wt t do or wts goin on in the production or wt direction the production is taking...but dips has managed t do a voice over we dnt kno if it will fit in...!!! n cuz we'v been given a few extra dyas durin easter (which i myt not b able t attend cuz im workin 9-5) datl give us a chance t sit down as a whole group as we havnt had 1 editin thing with da whole group der at once..!!! anyhuuu dis week is jus focusin on wrappin da whole production up., gotta audition between me n pardi 4 da voice-over..n jus fix up the lil tiny bits also add on da intitution n all dat..minor stuff..tyme has gone kinda well quick..but as i said b4 media awards ere we come...LaViSh LiFe...(",) xXxSiMrAnxXx

well simi and pardy went out yday and got sum vox pox at uxbeidge and we got quite a few as i loaded up the footage on our ting.. ummm it's getting together now shooo itsh alll gud.... i cant stay after skool 2day i got work :S buh buh i bin in 2day inda mornin and from 2 till da end of da day :) um ummmmm dash it reallly :) ... Evaluation

3- My attainment has no been all that this past few weeks I think it’s because I have so much going on a neglecting media but I am going to give 1st priority to Media because I want to achieve and get the best results.

3- My effort in media this term has not been my full potential I say this because I feel I have been neglecting it too much and that is not right as I want to achieve my targets that I have targeted

1-My punctuality to lessons have not been a problem I am always there and always on time.

2- My submission and quality of work that I hand in is not the best because I feel that I don’t spend enough time on the task but I try to. My submission of my homework has been good but not excellent

1-I can work independently as this encourages me to achieve the results on my own and even if I do mistakes I no that I am doing bad on my terms and not somebody else’s but I enjoy working independently.

1-my quality of writing has improved because I feel more confident in writing in media terms better than before because you learn it as you go along.

1-my media folder is good and very organised!

1-I feel that I could contribute a lot more in class as I feel that I get abit shy and think I may say the wrong thing but I guess I have to get over tha lol.

3-Coursework is looking good I could get involved more it’s just that other subjects are getting more prioritised than media but that has to change in order for me to pass this year. Sorry sir!

1- blog always looks good and progress reports get up to date daily so it’s all good for the blog!

Well i noe everyone is stressed buh we gettinnn der :)...um simi filmed our professional yday... n we got nine mins of footage and sim uploded it on the blog 2day :) umm sim cant stay after skool buh me and pardi will so we can get sum fings dun :) das bou it reallyyyy everyfings all gud sooooo farrr :).........

Comment on each of the following, giving yourself a grade with an explanation outlining why:(Grading should be 1-5: 1 = excellent, 2 = v. good, 3 = good/average, 4 = poor, 5 = v. poor) Attainment -1 Effort - 1- im more focused and try very hard to do my work to the best of my ability Punctuality- 1- I don't think i've everr been late so i give ma self a 1:) Submission and quality of homework- 2- the majority of the time i have completed my h/w but at times it has been handed in late but thats only been once or twice... Ability to work independently- 1- i think i work better on my own and am able to do the work better as im distracted less and am more focused Quality of writing - 1- I think that the way i express myself has become better and i am able to write things clearly and get my view across Organisation of Media folder-1- i am up to date with all of my work, i have all my work in order Oral contributions in class - 2- i think i do contribute but we haven't really been having much discussions.... Progress Report

ok so far we have sorted out the montage- i think it looks really good and although we have spent alot of time doing this, the montage is the most important thing and its important we get it right. We've made a start on the vox pops and our uni student scene, i think we should be able to get it all done by the end of this week which is important as the following week we just want to add the final touches to our documentary. I hope everything goes according to plan and no matter what we all need to be really focused because even though we've done alot, i still feel that we have alot to do, which should be all done this week. as we'v onli got two weeks left...im guessin da whole groups bit stressed out..:( well i am!!! we'v got alot of work t do...n with all da mocks cumin up its kinda hard t dedicate every free t media...but i kno wer goin t get it done...n do well cuz atm our production is doin kinda well...:) things r lookin up...dis week is jus guna b finishin off da editing...n recordin da voice over....its between me n pardi....n next week will hopefully jus b da final touches on da whole production...!!! da montage took da most time cuz der was alot of cuttin n stuff we'v gotta sort out da audio on wun lil bit n den dtas complete...!! also iv got a weddin dis weekend..so i wont b able t stay on fri...n its my burthday next tuesday so i wont b able t stay behind den either...sowii Simi xXx

ok dis week even thou things havnt been goin to well..me n pardi have spent our frees goin over our montage sequence have almost finished it...it last bout 45 secs n it looks realli good...well we'v been told by yr13 media students and our mentors..!!! (",)..we jus realli need t sort out what cuts n fade outs wer goin t have or how wer goin t link each clip together...but other wise our editin is goin realli well..Simi xXx

We have captured all the footage onto the computer in the media suite and we have also uploaded the additional clips we are going to include in our production such as the d& g advert and other stuff tooo :D.. well todaywe may stay after school and do sum montage scences for the production and get things rolling.....

Progress report....

ok...dis week we'v done abit more editing...its goin well cuz we'v sorted out our crowds...signs...and all da archive footage we need!!! da songs r also gettin sorted out which means we jus need to put all our work together now...!!! we decided to take an MTV fast paced approach to our documentary...as stated in our briefs we'v changed our audeince...TO A MUCH YOUNGER AUDIENCE...(TEENAGE...UNIVERSITY 15-30) basically dis week has been spent jus dicussin how wer goin to edit things and what tunes r goin to b played at hwat times...!!! (cant wait 4 da end production...media awards here we come (",)...lol) dis week/next week b4 school n after come in to edit... voice over take on board the idea of the media bein a plague and audiences are constantly bein injected...as the media in uncontrollable....find a way to add this into our documentary... Today we did shum editing... YeAhYYYY!! LOL :)

Well we started sum editing we r jus in the begginning process as we did sum shots that we stared to capture from the log in sheets and we got about half done which is gud :) it's looking pretty good.. we are going to do our last piece of footage today.. that is filming a sociology teacher as we cudnt get thru in getting a propa professonal.. but da teacher that we have got is as good shoo it's alllll guuddd :).......umm well das bout it really buh wen we get more things dun it will be posted up!!!!.......
